RANKIN COUNTY SAFE ROOM – BRANDON, MS
FEMA and MEMA officials joined Governor-elect Phil Bryant (second from left) as a check for $2,831,510 was presented to Rankin Supervisors Wood Brown, Jay Bishop, Jared Morrison, Walter Johnson and Greg Wilcox. The money will be used to construct an 11,743 square foot FEMA storm shelter in Brandon, MS. During their December 15 board meeting, the supervisors chose EnviroSafe Solutions to manage the grant process and A2H of Tennessee to provide architectural and engineering services on the project.
